Geena Davis has said she feels 'really grateful' that she didn't have her first child until she was in her forties. The 66-year-old had daughter Alizeh Keshvar Davis Jarrahy in 2002, and twin sons Kaiis Steven and Kian William in 2004.

She shares them with her former partner Reza Jarrahy, who she split from in 2017. The movie legend appeared on Wednesday's Loose Women to discuss her glittering career and shared some insight her to motherhood. "I'm really grateful that I had children in my 40s because I knew I'd be more involved," she told the panellists. "I didn't have a lot of self-esteem but I was really determined that my children would have self-esteem. "Before she had children with Reza, Geena dated restaurateur Richard Emmolo in 1997 and married him in 1981.

They went their separate ways in 1984 and she went on to date future Thelma and Louise co-star Christopher McDonald, to who she was briefly engaged.

In 1985, she met her second husband, Jeff Goldblum, on the set of Transylvania 6-5000. The stars tied the knot two years later and stayed together until 1990.
