A dog walker who discovered Brianna Ghey's bloodied body in a park said 'she looks dead' in a frantic 999 call. Kathryn Vize had been out with her husband and their two dogs in Culcheth Linear Park near Warrington on Saturday, February 11.

She called 999 after discovering an injured girl in the park just after 3pm. Brianna, 16, a transgender girl, died after being stabbed 28 times, jurors at Manchester Crown Court have been told.

The two defendants, both aged 16, known in press reports as Girl X and Boy Y, deny murder. Girl X, from Culcheth, and Boy Y, from Leigh, cannot be named due to legal reasons. During the conversation she could be heard to become distressed, as the call handler asked her questions about what she had seen. Below is a full transcript of the 999 call, which was played to the jury. Call handler: "Police emergency." Mrs Vize: "Police and ambulance am on Culcheth Linear Park and somebody has been attacked.
