Georgia Bell has taken home the bronze for Team GB in a thrilling women's 1500m final, achieving a bronze with a new personal best time of 3:52.61.

After the "absolutely crazy race" Georgia told BBC she was over the moon at becoming an Olympic medallist. It comes after the athlete made a remarkable comeback to the sport, after giving up competing after a strain of injuries.

After a five year break, Georgia tried her local Parkrun, and got back on the track, continuing to smash records. Georgia went on to win the British indoor and outdoor 1500m championship.

In an epic finale, Georgia was just 0.05 seconds away from taking silver, but was narrowly beaten by Jessica Hull, just pushing above her at the finish line.
