When the season ended that June, there was an uproar on social media from the audience. They had given it so much time, energy and engagement while theorizing online about whodunnit, but failed to receive an answer.
Sud announced the plan was always to definitively resolve who the perpetrator was by the end of the second season, but for many, that wasn’t enough.Almost a decade later, though, there is a surge in streaming.
