Frantic search launched for Glasgow woman last seen leaving home in white car

A frantic search has been launched after a woman vanished from Glasgow this morning. Police say Paula Simpson, 48, was last seen leaving an address at Dodside Gardens, Shettleston, around 11.50am on Saturday, January 6, in a white Volkswagen Tiguan.

Officers say they have since had an unconfirmed report that the vehicle was in East Kilbride an hour later.Anyone with information on Paula's whereabouts is urged to come forward.

Paula is described as white, around 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has butterflies tattooed on her back.

It is believed she is wearing a white jacket, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.
