Fifth Season and Roku have struck an unscripted international distribution deal. Fifth Season will shop the likes of Jessica Alba and Lizzy Mathis’ Honest Renovations, all-star survivalist competition Fight to Survive and Morimoto’s Sushi Master outside of the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
Further titles are set to be added and the Korean media company has invested in and will handle exclusive worldwide rights to Roku projects.
Prentiss Fraser, Fifth Season’s President of TV Distribution, said Roku has built a slate of “aspirational lifestyle and entertainment titles fronted by some of Hollywood’s biggest names to create premium originals for a mass audience.” “The service reaches over 100 million households in the U.S.
