Fernhill gala day will go ahead thanks to funding

A Rutherglen gala day will return thanks to a grant from a local community fund.Fernhill Communities Together will receive £4200 from a participatory budgeting exercise which will enable the team to bring the popular Fernhill Gala Day back for the community to enjoy.The event has not gone ahead in recent years due to Covid and the community centre being used as a vaccine site, it is hoped that it will return to becoming an annual event.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
