The sleep experts at Winstons Beds have revealed seven anti-ageing sleep hacks to prevent facial lines and wrinkles. Falling asleep in certain positions, including on the stomach and sides, can cause premature wrinkles.
Over 60 per cent of adults admit to sleeping on their side, which can lead to permanent fine lines and signs of ageing. Wrinkles can develop when the face is pressed against pillows or sheets for long periods, causing the skin to fold and crease.
These fine lines and wrinkles can contribute to overall facial ageing, especially around the nasolabial folds, eyes, and lips.Rebecca Swain, sleep expert from Winstons Beds said: "Unfortunately, those who struggle with a pillow face after a heavy night's sleep are prone to wrinkles. "When the skin rubs across pillows or sheets at night, it can cause premature wrinkles and lines to develop especially around our eyes and mouth.
