Scotland will be battered by freezing Arctic winds this weekend after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning. Forecasters at the weather agency are warning of 'potentially damaging' gusts, with the possibility of snow in some places.
The Met Office yellow warning is in place for 30 hours from Friday until Saturday covering most of Scotland as people are told to stay weather aware.
The wintry conditions headed our way are due to a dip in the jet stream, bringing freezing cold winds and a dip in the mercury.The Met Office tweeted on Tuesday: "Are you noticing the change in temperature?
