Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has started Rasmus Hojlund against Galatasaray because he's scored five goals in Europe already this season and his 'speed' will be needed.

United have lost their away Champions League group games against Bayern Munich and FC Copenhagen so far and they sit bottom of the group with just three points after beating the latter at Old Trafford.

To have hope of reaching the knockout rounds of the competition, a win is required against Galatasaray in Istanbul on Wednesday night and Ten Hag has put faith in the players he's brought to the club. Many expected Mainoo to retain his starting role after his impressive full Premier League debut against Everton at the weekend, but Amrabat has been given the nod to start for the first time since October 29.
