For example, switching appliances off at the wall when not in use, as if they have a standby mode they’ll still be using electricity - simply turning off a standard TV and set-top box can save around 68p over three months You should also turn off lights whenever you're not in a room and consider switching to LED bulbs as they are more energy efficient.
