Emmerdale villain makes shock return as dangerous kidnap plot 'leaked'

Villainous Tom (played by James Chase) has been lying low after Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) opened up to Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) about the abuse she has been suffering at the hands of her husband for months on end.
Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was livid when he discovered the truth about his sister Belle's abuse but stopped himself from reacting violently towards Tom, although the mechanic made it clear to the vet that he knows all about his antics.
Tom has since made himself scarce to keep out of the way of the Dingles and Belle hasn't seen or heard from him. But as viewers of the ITV soap will know, Tom pledged to stay in Belle's life for good so she's not naïve in knowing he will return.
In the meantime, Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) has struck up a romance with Tom - ignoring all warnings that he is dangerous, and has met up with him in secret.
