ITV this Autumn for a brand new show about his family life on their farm. The actor, best known for his role as Andy Sudgen in the soap, will star alongside his wife, Liz, and their four children as they continue to get to grips with managing a farm in the Peak District.
Fletcher’s Family Farm will be eight episodes long and is set to air this autumn. Speaking about their new adventure, Liz and Kelvin said: ‘When we embarked on this new chapter of our lives, we couldn’t have imagined what an extraordinary journey it would be.
Since the arrival of our two newborn twins last year, it has been even more of a rollercoaster ride. ‘I’ll buy it,’ Kelvin declared while commenting on an Instagram post, which had fans thrilled at the prospect. ‘Now that would be a great storyline,’ one said approvingly, with others liking the idea of Emmerdale getting back to its Emmerdale Farm roots with more actual farmers. ‘Yes!
Bring another farmer back!!’ a fan commented. Kelvin played Andy Sugden for 20 years and for much of that time he ran Butlers Farm, living there himself and then working for the Barton family when they took over the lease.
