Actor Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana joined the soap on 11 July in the role of "confident" and "magnetic" Sharma cousin Suni, and the latter's arrival leaves the Sharma family surprised.
Suni made his appearance ahead of Jai Sharma's nuptials to Laurel Thomas and it soon transpired Rishi has not seen his nephew for some time.
Rishi was delighted when he turns up unannounced for his cousin Jai’s wedding and was privately hopeful Suni's arrival can help restore the equilibrium in his relationship with Jai.
Emmerdale viewers may recognise him from ITV’s hit drama The Bay, where he played boxer Saif Rahman in four episodes of the gritty crime show.The actor has also starred in a number of well-known films such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Enola Holmes 2, starring Millie Bobby Brown.The actor marked his new role with a celebratory post on Instagram earlier this month.
