Emergency services rush to incident on quiet Edinburgh street

Emergency services have scrambled to an ongoing incident on a quiet Edinburgh street.Five ambulances, including an incident response vehicle, and two police cars, rushed to Meadowfield Gardens, just off Duddingston Road West, on Wednesday afternoon.

One eye witness captured an image of the major response at around 2.20pm on July 16 and claims to have seen one person taken away in an ambulance, reports Edinburgh Live.Other pictures from the scene show a police van and car parked at the side of the street, with emergency service personnel speaking with one and other outside a property.

A Scottish Ambulance Spokesman said: “We received a call at 1355 hours today to attend an incident at Meadowfield Gardens in Edinburgh and our first resource arrived on scene within six minutes.
