Eight hospitalised after release of “chemical substance” in Doncaster nightclub

LBC, South Yorkshire Police were called to the Pop Works club last weekend (July 30) where attendees were seen “struggling to breathe” and “coughing and vomiting”.All those hospitalised have now been discharged, with police saying in a statement that they believe the substance to have been similar to pepper spray.Eight people were rushed to hospital, but have since been discharged with no further injuries.
