It's been nearly six months since Shaun and Pip Stirrup suffered a tragedy that no parent should ever have to go through. Their six-year-old daughter, Milly-Rose - a previously happy and healthy little girl, died just hours after being admitted to hospital with tummy pain.

This week, Milly-Rose would have turned seven. But instead of celebrating another milestone, Shaun and his wife Pip are still coming to terms with their unimaginable loss. In February, the youngster contracted a bug which had been doing the rounds at school. She'd had the day off school and a few hours later, she started complaining her belly and head were hurting.

Her parents took her to A&E at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital but her observations appeared normal, and they decided to take her home for some much-needed rest.
