Actress Kacey Ainsworth - who played Maureen 'Little Mo' Slater in Albert's Square between 2000 and 2006 - was mentioned in scenes during Tuesday night's instalment, after almost two decades off-screen.The scene in question saw Mo catching up with her on-screen son Freddie, played by rising star Bobby Brazier - real life son of reality star Jade Goody and TV presenter Jess Brazier. "You alright mum, yeah, I'm just missing you, that's all.
You sound happy, mum," the youngster was seen to be telling someone on the phone. Following Freddie's telephone chat with his somewhat estranged mother, actress Kasey - whose life off-screen involved a super glam transformation - took to Twitter to revel in the excitement of her fans.
She joined in the celebration herself, posting a snap of her in a phonebox last night and captioning the tweet: "Apparently I’ve been on the blower...".
