EastEnders icon Cindy Beale is reportedly coming back from the dead in an explosive new storyline on the BBC soap. The character, who was played by Michelle Collins, now 60, in the 80s and 90s, became one of the most well-known and legendary ever to grace Albert Square, especially because of her dramatic and on-again off-again relationship with Ian Beale, who is played by Adam Woodyatt, 54.
Now, bosses are said to be gearing up for a dramatic return for both Walford favourites, in a bid to shake-up and revive the beloved series.
While both actors are reportedly already back and working on set, they're said to be filming their scenes from the exciting new plot in secret.
A source claimed: “This has been done so secretively but it’s going to be an absolute bombshell — an unbelievable twist. “Ian and Cindy are one of the most memorable couples in soap history.
