East Kilbride boss Mick Kennedy is on a three-man shortlist for the vacant Clyde manager's position, Lanarkshire Live Sport understands.

The Bully Wee are on the hunt for a new gaffer after Brian McLean was sacked on October 29, with the club a point off the bottom of League Two.Interim boss Chris Millar - a former East Kilbride player - took the reins for Monday night's Scottish Cup second round win over Musselburgh Athletic, as the club continued discussions over who will lead them for the rest of the season.And Kennedy, who only took charge of Lowland League EK in the summer alongside assistant Si Ferry, is a main contender to be the new boss at the Bully Wee.It is understood Clyde approached Kennedy last week before East Kilbride fell to a heavy and surprise 7-0 defeat at Tranent in the Scottish Cup second round last week.The Kilby boss has held discussions with representatives from Clyde, but the 43-year-old has not made a firm decision either way, having invested a lot of work in rebuilding the squad at K-Park this summer.Further talks are expected next week.Kennedy, who was in charge of West of Scotland League side Darvel last season when they stunned Premiership Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup, is in the frame alongside two candidates from SPFL clubs for the position.Kilby's defeat in East Lothian was the worst loss in their history and equalled their earliest exit from the Scottish Cup.This weekend unbeaten Lowland leaders East Kilbride will look to bounce back when they travel to Caledonian Braves, while managerless Clyde host Spartans at New Douglas Park.Clyde announced today that Millar will take the team against Spartans, adding: "The process for recruiting a new manager is progressing well, the club are
