Dumfries Rugby Club is pleading with dog walkers to pick up after their pets.Dog fouling on the Park Farm pitch has been a problem for the Saints for a number of years but the situation has worsened in recent weeks.The club made an appeal on social media this week and it has been backed up by committee members who say it is a health hazard for players.Past president Andy Graham said: “This has been a problem for the club for a number of years.“We put signs up and it did fall away for a wee bit but recently it’s gotten worse and worse and the issue has reared its ugly head again.“It’s absolutely disgusting.“The people that do this don’t give two hoots though, they don’t care.
