Jay Park has unveiled a music video for his new song ‘Yesterday’ starring Squid Game actress Lee Yoo-mi.On February 13, the 35-year-old musician dropped his new single ‘Yesterday’ alongside with a music video featuring South Korean actress Lee Yoo-mi, who is best known for starring in Netflix series Squid Game and All Of Us Are Dead.In the video, Park finds himself growing lonelier despite being in the company of friends. After making several missed calls, Lee finally picks up the phone and the two connect, eventually meeting up and holding hands as they walk off the video’s set together.“Whether I’m up or down or I wear no crown / Love me the same way, the same way you did as yesterday / Whether I’m rich or poor, just call me yours / Love me the samе way, the same way you did as yestеrday,” he croons on the acoustic R&B-influenced number.In addition to ‘Yesterday’, the singer’s new release also includes a similarly stripped-down track titled ‘Love Is Ugly’, which features vocals from MAMAMOO member Hwasa.The songs were released under Park’s newest label More Vision, which he launched in March 2022 after stepping down as CEO of the previous two labels he founded, AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC.

Strong Woman series of K-dramas.Today (November 20), YTN reported JTBC has plans to continue its hit series of Strong Woman K-dramas, citing unnamed industry sources. The second instalment of the series, Strong Woman Nam-soon, is currently airing.JTBC later confirmed the report in a statement to Newsen, saying: “We have plans for another instalment, but we are currently concentrating on writing another project.”The original series, Strong Woman Bong-soon, first aired in 2017 and was led by Park Bo-young, Park Hyun-sik and Ji Soo.

EXO’s Xiumin has been cast in a new K-drama titled Sajangdol Mart (literal translation), marking his first role in seven years.On September 14, South Korean news outlet JTBC News reported that the K-pop idol will be starring as the lead in a new K-drama titled Sajangdol Mart. The claims were later confirmed by SM Entertainment in their response via XSports News later that day, as translated by Soompi.Other details regarding the new series, including a premiere date, full cast list and visuals, have yet to be confirmed by the production company behind Sajangdol Mart. According to JTBC News’ original report, Sajangdol Mart will allegedly depict the journeys of several individuals, who were all former K-pop idols, as they endeavour to open and run a supermarket together. The series will reportedly be helmed by director and producer Lee Yoo-yeon, previously known for her work on the web drama Best Mistake. Xiumin’s highly anticipated role in Sajangdol Mart will mark the singer’s first acting project in roughly seven years, since making his acting debut in the 2015 romantic-comedy web series Falling For Challenge. He was involved in that series as its lead, starring alongside Kim So-eun, and subsequently starred in the film Seondal: The Man Who Sells The River that same year, alongside Korean actors Yoo Seung-ho, Cho Jae-hyun, Ko Chang-seok and more.

All Of Us Are Dead star Lee Yoo-mi has shared her thoughts about the audience’s reaction to her role in the hit zombie K-drama series.In an interview with The Korea Herald, the South Korean actress, who plays wealthy student Na-yeon in the series, revealed that she was surprised by the negative reaction towards her character. The actress even contrasted it with the overwhelmingly positive reception she received as Ji-yeong in Squid Game.“Unlike how the viewers showed their love and support for me after watching Ji-yeong in Squid Game, [All of Us Are Dead] fans revealed their hatred and anger toward Na-yeon with memes, video clips and online posts,” the actress shared.

All Of Us Are Dead.In the teen zombie series, the 27-year-old actress had starred as Na-yeon, a high school student who struggles to get along and cooperate with her classmates when their school is taken over by a wave of zombies due to her “mean” personality.However, in an interview with Cosmopolitan Korea, Lee shared that she found herself unable to hate the character despite her shortcomings. “Na-yeon is someone who’s really faithful to the emotions she feels,” explained the actress, as translated by Soompi.

All Of Us Are Dead.The actor, alongside co-stars Lee Yoo-mi, Park Ji-hu, Yoo Chan-young and Cho Yi-hyeon, recently spoke to Cosmopolitan Korea about the cast’s processes of bringing their characters to life on the new hit K-drama, and how they attempted to reinvent All Of Us Are Dead as a television series from its origins as a webcomic.“We tried really hard to act like modern Korean high school students,” Park said, per translations by Soompi, pointing out that the show’s source material, titled Now At Our School, had first been released almost two decades ago. “Compared to 13 years ago when the webtoon was made, the culture of high school students is different now.”Keeping that in mind, Park revealed that the cast strove to tweak their characters and on-screen relationships to reflect this change in high school culture.
