Driving fund in memory of much-loved instructor needs support to continue

A scholarship set up in memory of a much-loved driving instructor is appealing for more funds help youngsters on the road to success.

The aim of the East Kilbride Driving Scholarship (EKDS) is to raise funds to teach youngsters to drive for free meaning those who may otherwise struggle can get behind the wheel more easily.

It was inspired by George McLaughlin and is now run by and on behalf of all East Kilbride and District Driving Instructors. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
