Irvine, were appalled by the treatment their son Brandon, 11, received during their shopping trip to Asda's Irvine store yesterday.Brandon, who was diagnosed with the neurological movement disorder DYT1 dystonia in November 2020, was shopping with his mum and siblings when two staff members allegedly claimed he wasn't allowed to use the store's electronic scooters; despite his condition which causes involuntary, sustained, twisting muscle spasms.Graham claims staff members suggested Brandon wait by the front door while his mum and siblings allowed to continue to shop.Instead, Brandon was given one of the store's wheelchairs to use and his younger brother, who's only 8, had to push him around the store.Asda said today that due to insurance.
