Kelvin Fletcher has called accusations that he “copied” Jeremy Clarkson’s farming show “unfair”.The former Emmerdale actor and wife Liz Marsland - who are currently expecting twins - are the stars of new show Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure. The BBC follows the couple as they set up their 120-acre working farm on the edge of the Peak District, despite having no farming experience between them.

Jeremy Clarkson launched his own farm last year called Diddly Squat Farm and documented his experience in running it for the Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm.

As a result, Kelvin has received some criticism that he has tried to ‘copy’ Jeremy’s show, something which he denies in a new podcast interview.

"So to be compared exclusively to Clarkson I think is a little random.
