The enthusiasm for the film comes at a much-needed time for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which experienced rare flops last year with the releases of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and “The Marvels.” The latest “Deadpool” film is the only Disney-backed Marvel movie on the release calendar in 2024 and marks the character’s official introduction into the MCU.
