Danny McBride ‘Can’t Stand’ Movie Theaters Serving Dinner and Drinks: ‘I Hate It’ and ‘You’re Going to Have to Piss’ in the Middle of the Film

With the popularization of theaters that now serve dinner and drinks in the middle of a movie (see Alama Drafthouse locations, for example), the “Eastbound & Down” and “Pineapple Express” comedian recently told GQ magazine that he is staunchly against the trend. “I hate it, I can’t stand it,” McBride said while addressing the theaters-that-serves-dinner trend. “I also don’t think it makes sense to combine booze with movies.
