Dancing on Ice confirm Stephen Lustig-Webb's replacement after he was forced to pull out
ok.co.ukEddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards will be joining the cast of Dancing on Ice, after Gogglebox's Stephen Lustig-Webb was forced to withdraw from the competition due to injury.
Speaking about joining the show, Eddie said:“ It’s bittersweet as whilst I’m delighted to be taking part in the new series I’m gutted for Stephen and wish him a speedy recovery. "Dancing on Ice is a show I’ve always wanted to do.
It’s a challenge I think I’m going to relish!" Eddie will be joining the class of 2024 which includes actress Claire Sweeney, actress and singer Hannah Spearritt, former Love Island winner and West End star Amber Davies and Olympic Champion TV personality Miles Nazaire.
Stephen's withdrawal from the show was announced earlier this month when the show's official X account (formerly Twitter) shared a statement, which read: "Stephen Lustig-Webb has to withdraw from this year’s show due an injury he sustained to his ankle during training. "He is still very much a part of the DOI family and we will be helping to support Stephen.
