A dad-of-four who was told his stomach pain was 'indigestion' has been given weeks to live. Joe Snape says he was 'fobbed off' by the NHS for months.

He first spoke to his GP 18 months ago about 'really bad pains'. By the time he finally received his devastating cancer diagnosis, he was given just three weeks to live - eight weeks ago.

Joe is now getting treatment at The Christie in Manchester. He told Stoke-on-Trent Live: "It's incurable so I've just got to try to keep it at bay, but I feel like if doctors had picked up on it 18 months ago then it might not have been incurable." READ MORE: 'I had only been speaking to her a few days before.

When I got the call I just screamed' Joe, 37, first visited Moorlands Medical Centre in Leek, Staffordshire, with stomach pains last year.
