Police have begun a second day of investigations at a Salford park as searches linked to Stuart Everett's death continue. Greater Manchester Police began searching Parr Fold Park, in Walkden, yesterday (May 29).
Officers had been searching Boggart Hole Clough, in north Manchester, for two weeks as part of the operation. Detectives confirmed that 'significant recoveries' were made at Boggart Hole Clough before the scene was closed yesterday.
Multiple police vehicles are at Parr Fold Park this morning and the park is taped off. Operational support, a mobile police station and a police wellbeing van are supporting officers at the scene. READ MORE: Police searching for Cheshire father-and-son missing in Scotland find two bodies Mr Everett, 67, is believed to have died at a house in Winton, Salford, at the end of March.
Parts of his body were found at Kersal Dale on April 4, sparking further searches across Salford and Manchester. Mr Everett's lower back, buttocks and thigh were discovered at Kersal Dale in plain sight near a footpath, wrapped in cellophane.
