Corrie's evil Geoff Metcalfe actor unrecognisable in new Midsomer Murders
ok.co.ukFormer Coronation Street actor Ian Bartholomew, who played the evil Geoff Metcalfe, looked unrecognisable as he appeared in ITV's Midsomer Murders.
In the ITV soap, Ian played the controlling Geoff, who destroyed his wife Yasmeen Nazir and his ex-partner Elaine Jones. Now, Ian is cutting a scruffy figure as he appears in his first major role since he was killed off on the cobbles.The 69 year old is playing the father of a young girl called Tilly, who was murdered at the start of the episode - but there's a twist.
His look might be worlds away from when he starred on Coronation Street, but his character shares many similarities with Geoff.
In the programme, his character has been accused of controlling his daughter, similar to the way that Geoff controlled many people during his time in Corrie.
