The actress appears to have been enjoying some time away from the UK - and the ITV soap - to spend time with her family. Samia, who is famed for playing Maria Windass - nee Sutherland and Connor - in Corrie, has taken to social media to reveal she has enjoyed a well-deserved trip away to France with her husband, Dancing on Ice star Sylvain Longchambon, and their son, Yves.
The 41-year-old took to Instagram where she posted a snap of herself perched on a rock in front of what appeared to be a beautiful rocky backdrop with calm flowing water.
