Coronation Street's Luke Delaney rushed to hospital and shares snap of serious injury

Coronation Street star Luke Delaney, who played Dave Fairchild in the ITV soap, was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a knee injury.The actor updated his fans on his injury as he shared a snap to social media while he was sat in a waiting room, with his leg in a brace, at Wythenshawe Hospital in Greater Manchester.

Luke, who is also a bodybuilder, claimed the injury was either an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) or medial collateral ligament (MCL) as he captioned the post: “One injury after another this year.

Potential MCL/ACL tear now”. The ACL and the MCL are both ligaments that support and stabilise the knee, according to Speciality Orthopaedics.
