Stacey Solomon has given fans a glimpse into her wholesome weekend after returning to her busy work schedule following a luxury trip abroad.

Earlier this month the Loose Women star jetted back from a 10-day trip with her husband Joe Swash and their brood. The couple had been enjoying their fun-filled break in Turkey, or more specifically at the Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort on the Mediterranean coast, with Stacey's sons Zachary and Leighton and their three children Rex, Rose and Belle.

But she has since been thrown back into her usual chaos of looking after her children as well as filming away from home. However, before the weekend, Stacey appeared to have wrapped on the next series of her BBC show Sort Your Life Out, which returns to screens early next month, and couldn't wait to have a normal weekend at home. On Sunday (August 27), the TV star took to Instagram to share how she was preparing a Sunday roast for the Solomon-Swash clan.

The snap, shared with her 5.7 million followers, featured carrots, cabbage, and potatoes. But there was what could be seen as a controversial addition to the dinner staple as she showed her less traditional choice of mushrooms as she laid out ingredients on a wooden chopping board that said 'Pickle Cottage' on it, which is the nickname for the family's Essex-based home due to Stacey referring to her children as 'pickles'.
