Coronation Street fans had one complaint about Paul Foreman's last episode as the character tragically died in emotional scenes.

The former builder's death came 17 months after he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Paul, played by Peter Ash was told had had the life-shortening disease, in which messages from the motor neurones gradually stop reaching the muscles, shortly after being knocked over by Carla Connor, who had been unknowingly drugged by serial killer Stephen Reid, in an Underworld van.

After being supported by his loved ones as his health deteriorated, in his final hours, Paul was rushed to hospital as he struggled to breathe and shortly after arriving, doctors informed his family there was nothing more they could do but make him comfortable. However, the trio of women weren't honest with Billy as Paul had already passed in a heartbreaking twist after a series of events delayed his efforts to get there.
