Coronation Street fans have said they're 'disappointed' as they pointed out some problems with Daisy Midgeley and Jenny Connor's plan to get back behind the Rovers Return bar.

Landlady Jenny was devastated earlier this year when she had to sell the beloved boozer due to crippling costs. She handed over ownership to Newton and Ridley, the brewery whose name has been associated with the pub since the beginning.

And initially, all seemed well as with Jenny able to continue running the pub with the help of her staff - Daisy, Sean Tully, Glenda Shuttleworth and Gemma Winter-Brown.

However, the jubilation didn't last long as they discovered Newton and Ridley were being sold to another company, Waterford Incorporated.
