The son of legendary Scots comedian Andy Cameron MBE has tragically died after losing a cancer battle aged just 41. Heartfelt tributes have poured in for Spencer Cameron, who is understood to have lived and worked in Dubai with his young family.He was a well-known Rangers fan and the Glasgow club were involved in raising funds for his medical treatment.
Dubai Football Club, who dubbed themselves Spencer’s Army, paid tribute to their player saying his “spirit, resilience, and passion for the game were an inspiration to us all.” In a statement, the club wrote: “Our hearts are heavy today as we mourn the loss of our teammate, Spencer.“He was a talented player and an even better person, and he will be deeply missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time. We learned so much from Spencer on and off the field.“His spirit, resilience, and passion for the game were an inspiration to us all.
While he may be gone, his memory will forever be etched in our hearts.“Thank you to Rangers FC for supporting our Scottish warrior through his medical journey by raising his name in the pitch for not to surrender and keep strong.
