Cage full of hamsters abandoned by side of busy Scots road

Scots road. The "distinctive" pink and purple cage was discovered by a passing motorist on the A909 between Kelty and Cowdenbeath in Fife.

Three adult hamsters and one new-born pinkie hamster were found.Tragically, two other pinkie hamsters were discovered dead amongst the bedding.The Scottish SPCA is investigating the incident, with the cute critters now being taken care of at one of their animal rehoming centres.
