As the bid for the Rutherglen and Hamilton West seat hots up, candidates clashed at a hustings event in a council service funding debate as they showed their support to UNISON strikers.Voters will make their choice on Thursday regarding who their MP will be in the first recall by-election in Scotland after former MP Margaret Ferrier was ousted by 12,000 constituents who signed the petition.The hopeful candidates from the SNP, Katy Loudon, and Labour, Michael Shanks, alongside a representative from the Liberal Democrats in Robert Brown attended the Sportsman Bar in Rutherglen on Thursday for a hustings event held by trade union UNISON.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
