Sam, 30, was believed to be "furious" as their performance at London's O2 Arena was almost cancelled following a technical glitch when their £500,000 set malfunctioned.
The source added that organisers moved Stormzy's performance ahead to cover the issue they were having. They also aired Adele's 2022 Brit performance so they had time to reconstruct the set for Sam and Kim's time to take to the stage. "Sam’s performance might have appeared seamless but behind-the-scenes it was a nightmare," the source told The Sun. "The whole set was built and ready to go but then a malfunction meant it had to be pulled off.
Stormzy was moved forward and Sam was told there was a possibility their performance might be pulled altogether." They shared: "Sam was understandably furious and it was pretty tense backstage.” OK!
