Gabby Logan has apologised after the BBC showed a replay of the incident that saw Barnabas Varga taken to hospital. Hungary striker Varga was injured after a sickening collision with Scotland keeper Angus Gunn.

The 29-year-old's head clashed with Gunn's arm, leaving the Hungarian in a serious conditionteammates. His teammates put him into the recovery position as the country's medical staff rushed onto the pitch.

The host broadcaster UEFA then opted to play a replay of the incident, with the BBC quickly cutting away to a wide-angle view of the Stuttgart Arena.
