Bobby Brazier has shared that he wanted to 'cry' and 'run to his dad' after he won the huge gong at the National Television Awards on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old - who is due to make his Strictly Come Dancing debut when it returns to television - scooped the impressive Best Rising Star award.
The actor won the award for his role as Freddie Slater in the long-running BBC One soap brought the audience at London's 02 stadium to silence when he accepted the prestigious award reports the Mirror.Bobby credited his father, Jeff, gushing that he has always been his biggest supporter, with his motto being 'Because I can'.
He also praised his 'beautiful' EastEnders family for moulding him into a talented actor.As he collected the coveted gong, the camera's panned to Bobby's dad Jeff who could be seen sobbing with pride as his son delivered a poignant acceptance speech.
