Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lynn Lopez (born July 24, 1969), also known by her nickname J.Lo, is an American actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer, producer and businesswoman. In 1991, Lopez began appearing as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. For her first leading role in the 1997 Selena biopic of the same name, Lopez received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to earn over US$1 million for a film. She went on to star in Anaconda (1997) and Out of Sight (1998), later establishing herself as the highest-paid Latin actress in Hollywood.

Blackpool prepares for 'ultimate' Illuminations switch-on party - with mystery celebrity guest

A free family party is being thrown in Blackpool to the start this year's Illuminations celebrations. Floats - featuring characters from Nickeodeon, including Spongebob, PAW Patrol and Baby Shark - will travel down the Golden Mile on September 1, joined by more than 100 dancers, musicians and street performers.

The parade will start at Central Pier to the Tower Festival Headland for the free family party. Music and entertainment will be followed guest celebrity, who will switch on the lights for the famous four month Illuminations.

A specially-commissioned light show will then take placeat Blackpool Tower, with a firework display over the seafront. A VisitBlackpool spokesperson said: "This is the first time, post-COVID, that we have been able to bring the full Switch-On event back outside – and we are determined to make it a party to remember.

The Nickelodeon team are working on some amazing floats that will bring to life some of their best-loved children’s TV shows.
