Britain's Got Talent 2023 finally drew to a dramatic close on Sunday night, as Norwegian entertainer, Viggo Ven, was announced as the winner.
Viggo beat dancer Lillianna Clifton, who came second, and Cillian O'Connor, who was third, to be declared the winner of the show, meaning he will perform in front of King Charles, and other members of the Royal Family, at the Royal Variety Performance on November 30 2023.
He also scooped the prize money of £250. But some show fans were left aghast as the shirt-ripping, high-vis vest wearing act's name was called out by Ant and Dec, and they quickly went on to slam the show as a 'fix'.Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Absolute fix today in Britain's got talent final how that man with the high vis act one I do not know.
Absolute calamity that such a stupid act as that has won. That opera singer, the last act, was so good that I thought he would win I'm very disappointed of today's results." Another tweeted: "Nah Britain’s got talent is the biggest fix #bgt " Someone else said: "Tonight's show, Britain's Got Talent was a disgrace. The Norwegian who supposedly won it, has no talent, wasn't funny, and was embarrassing.
