Ben Shephard has admitted he isn't 'brave enough' to go against the opinion of This Morning viewers after a decision was made on his behalf ahead of a major milestone.

The presenter returned to the helm of the ITV daytime show on Monday (September 2) alongside co-host Cat Deeley. The pair enjoyed a lengthy summer break away from their presenting duties but were reunited to kick off a new season on This Morning.

But talk quickly turned to Ben's new look as he decided to steer clear of the razors and let his beard grow. He asked his co-stars what they thought of his new look with Gyles Brandeth admitting that he wasn't keen on the new look. The vote later revealed that they wanted rid of Ben's beard and he's now clinging onto its last moments. Taking to Instagram, the former Good Morning Britain star shared an array of pictures from his summer off, including a snap of him enjoying the sunshine on a boat, before sharing snaps of himself and Cat back together in the This Morning studio.
