The owners of a beloved cocktail bar and taco joint in the Northern Quarter have announced they have made the ‘emotional’ decision to permanently close this weekend.

Luck, Lust Liquor and Burn (more commonly known as just Liquor and Burn), situated on High Street, will close this Sunday after more than ten years in operation.

The bar took its inspiration from Mexico and California, offering a range of nachos, taquitos, burritos, tacos and loaded fries, as well as a bustling selection of cocktails and beers.

Making the announcement on social media on Tuesday (August 20), bosses behind the bar said they were ‘gutted to be ending our journey’ after forming a firm reputation in the city centre.
