TOWIE's Jess Wright gives heartbreaking update on her son's devastating health condition
ok.co.ukJess Wright was left devastated recently when her two-year-old son, Presley, was diagnosed with Bicuspid Aortic Valve, a rare heart condition - something which means the youngster will need open heart surgery for in the future.
And speaking exclusively to OK! at the National Television Awards last week, Jess gave an update on Presley's health. She shared: "We know Presley's situation, we have to monitor it every 10-12 weeks and we're hoping that, please God, we get the right result until eventually, he has to have surgery." Continuing that she has been inundated with support since sharing the news, Jess said: "I've had so much love and it's crazy to know how common it is. "It's only 1% of people that are born with it but the support has shown me how many people are going through the same thing, which is nice because you know you're not alone.
I've had amazing messages every single day, that's what makes me so grateful for the platform that I have. But every single case is subjective to your heart, so, I can get a million messages but it depends on your own situation." On a lighter note, Jess remained positive and hailed her 'beautiful and supportive' husband William Lee-Kemp, jesting that family life is 'absolutely manic but great'.
Jess and William welcomed their son in 2022, and since then, Presley have been hit with persistent health woes. In November last year, when Presley was just one, Jess revealed she had to rush him to hospital.
