BBC Strictly pro dancer 'confirmed' for 2024 series in now deleted social media post
ok.co.ukThe hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year, and one professional dancer has seemingly been confirmed by accident.
Gorka Márquez's fiancée, Gemma Atkinson, who competed in Strictly a few years ago, accidentally revealed the dancing professional is set to return.
In a now-deleted post on social media, Gemma, 39, reportedly spoke about their childcare arrangements when Gorka, 33, is training for the show and whether she planned to put her 10-month-old son, Thiago in nursery.
According to MailOnline, she explained: “Depending on Gorka's partner and whether he has a partner, depending on where they're based, he doesn't know where he is. “All the childcare lands on my family because obviously all his family are in Spain.” Two of Gorka’s Strictly co-stars, Jowita Przystal and Luba Mushtuk appeared on BBC Breakfast last week and confirmed they didn’t know if they would be returning.
