Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Coppola has given an insight into his partnership with Ellie Leach as the pair prepare for the show's famous trip to Blackpool.

The pair made it through to week nine of the BBC One dance contest after impressing with their latest routine in the ballroom.

On Saturday night, Vito and former Coronation Street star Ellie sported matching pink garments as they spun around during a rumba to True Colours by Cyndi Lauper.

They scored a total of 35 points from the judges and finished the night in second place behind actor Layton Williams and dance partner Nikita Kuzmin as they got a near-perfect score of 39 for their fast and emotional Argentine tango.
