Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has said she's got a 'good feeling' about the year ahead as she made a vow after being 'robbed' of the 2023 she had planned.

As the year drew to a close over the weekend, the dancer reflected on what had been a difficult journey. Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, sharing the news with her fans in May after undergoing a mastectomy and reconstruction.

She later underwent chemotherapy treatment that saw her face a number of setbacks including sepsis and blood clots while also having to undergo fertility treatment.

But determined to carry on, the Welsh star managed to return to Strictly after being forced out of competing in the most recent series.
